Samsara
Samsara
I spent two weeks working as a game designer for Infinity27, as part of their Interactive Real-Time 3D Skills Bootcamp.
During this time I designed a quest for their game Samsara, including objectives, dialogue, loot, combat and npc's, whilst taking in to account the pacing of the level. I also wrote all of the dialogue, including a moral dilemma for the player and accounted for any major branches in the quest. To visualize the level, I created detailed, multi-story floor plans that I used as a reference when greyboxing the level in Unreal Engine 5. Despite having no prior experience with Unreal (as I was mainly working in Unity at the time), it was a great opportunity for me to learn and explore new skills that I'm currently enjoying developing further.

Shooter
2D Shooter
This is an unnamed Point & Click Shooter game that I started as a personal project to gain experience in Game Design, UX, and UI design, and to showcase my skills in my portfolio. However, as I worked on the project, it expanded in scope beyond a simple "run & gun" game. I focused on aspects such as Mastery and Replayability, incorporating a range of weapons, enemies, and challenges to the game.
To help guide the development process, I created a complete Games Design Document and put a great deal of effort into designing the User Interface using Figma. Additionally, I developed a prototype in Unity to test various game features.

Lunar Rush
Lunar Rush
Lunar Rush was made in Unity during a 3 day game jam, by me and two others.
The theme we were given for our game was 'Lunar' and the restriction that we had to incorporate in to the game was '10 seconds'.
In Lunar Rush, the player's goal is to collect all of the stars within each level and transport them back to their ship. The player begins with an oxygen tank that provides them with 10 seconds of oxygen. If the player runs out of oxygen, the level ends, and they must try again. To survive, the player must locate additional oxygen tanks scattered throughout the levels.

Endless Runner
Endless Runner
This is a 2D, endless runner, where the players aim is to collect as many coins as they can using their jump, double jump, slide and roll mechanics to avoid traps and obstacles.
The more the player runs, the faster they'll go which makes the game more challenging. If they manage to reach the maximum speed, they'll earn a heart, which can be used to avoid one trap or obstacle.
I implemented a store where the player can use the coins they've earned to purchase different player skins and also change the colour of the platforms.
I built this for PC with keyboard controls and for Android with touch controls.
